Maple Sugarin' Festival at Hashawha Enviromental Center
Sunday 10:30am to 4:00pm
This festival features a brunch of maple syrup on pancakes ($4.00 per person) which is available all day, maple syrup demonstrations with tastings, and craft vendors ( weather permitting).
Food will be available for purchase, including maple pit beef and other maple items. There will be an indoor children's activity area offering crafts, games, and face painting.
A variety of programs also will be offered, which may include birds of prey, reptiles, and amphibians. Living history programs will take place at the Martin log cabin.
Most people enjoy coming to HEC because of the beautiful surroundings. This serene setting allows visitors to relax and appreciate the natural environment all around them.
The cost of admission is $5.00 per vehicle.
No pets are allowed.
The main festival is held outdoors so please dress for the weather.

20th Annual Leesburg Flower and Garden Festival
Saturday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Sunday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
This show is held rain or shine on the historic streets of downtown Leesburg, Virginia.
Vendors display landscape design, sell gardening supplies, outdoor living items, plants, flowers and herbs.
Visitors can watch live music performances and the festival also has a children's craft area.
There is a $3.00 suggested donation at the gate and children 6 and under are free.
Bring your own wagons or check one out at the festival information gazebo.
NEW FOR 2010
The festival has added another block of downtown Leesburg that will host 30 new vendors as well as an expanded children's workshop area and entertainment stage! This year's festival will also host a Wine Garden featuring numerous Loudoun County wineries. Along with these big changes, they will also be adding a third stage to the event that will feature live demonstrations and "how-to" guides for festival goers.
Our booth will be located at the top of South King and Loudoun Street in front of the wine shop!

National Cathedral Flower Mart 2010-A Salute to Ukraine

This festival is for all garden enthusiasts and families! The flower mart features annuals, perennials, landscape, floral and horticulture exhibits. The children's activities include a rock wall, moon bounce, mini-Ferris wheel and a century-old restored carousel.
The Flower Mart encircles Washington National Cathedral with its tents and includes more than 50 boutique booths offering gardening items, handbags, jewelry, and more.
Food vendors will be stationed throughout the grounds with fare including Asian specialties, pizza, BBQ, Southern cuisine, lobster rolls, baked goods and more!

The Baltimore Herb Festival

This festival offers vendors of herb plants and herb-related products.
"Herb-related" means anything that grows in an herb garden, anything that comes out of an herb garden, anything inspired by an herb garden, or anything used in an herb garden like birdhouses, trowels, pots and fertilizers.
It is held in the unique ambiance of Leakin Park.
There are lectures and demonstrations, CALS railroad rides, and food and lemonade.
